The processing of your personal data is based on the principles of lawfulness, fairness, and transparency and is carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Notice, which we invite you to read carefully. It contains relevant information about how and why we process personal data and lists your rights regarding this processing

We also inform you that this Notice applies exclusively to activities on the Site and therefore does not apply to personal data collected through external links.

INVOLVED PARTIES: Alessio Papa is the Data Controller of personal data (“the Controller”). The processing of personal data may also be carried out by third parties on behalf of the Controller; in such cases, the Controller will formally appoint them as Processors and define their tasks and limits of the processing in writing.

TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING: The Site collects various categories of personal data:

– Browsing data (internet protocol (IP) address; type of browser and device parameters used to connect to the site; name of the internet service provider (ISP); date and time of visit; referring and exit web pages). These data are used anonymously and aggregated solely for statistical purposes, to ensure the correct functioning of the site and for security reasons. The processing of this type of data is permitted based on the legitimate interest of the Controller and does not require your consent.

– On the Site, you can contact Alessio Papa by filling out the contact form or request information for purchasing an artwork. To use these functionalities, we will ask you to provide your contact details (name, phone, and email address). These data are processed for the specific purpose for which they were collected (requesting information or purchasing an artwork) using manual and/or IT and telematic tools to ensure their security, integrity, and confidentiality in compliance with current regulations. Providing these data is optional, and their processing is based on your consent. Your refusal to provide the requested data will not affect your browsing on the Site but will prevent us from fulfilling your request.

– The Site may contain images of nudity, which, although intended and valued as art, depict the nude adult human body. If the User is under the legal age to view such material or feels offended by nudity, it is advised not to enter. By entering, the User declares under their responsibility to be at least 18 years old and not to find nude images offensive.

– The Site uses cookies, which are small text files that allow information about users’ preferences to be collected and stored. There are three types of cookies: (i) technical cookies, used to collect information for statistical, security, and functional purposes of the Site. They do not contain personal data and do not require your consent; (ii) profiling cookies, used to track the user’s browsing habits to send advertising messages in line with the user’s preferences and habits. DATA RECIPIENTS: Personal data collected on the Site are intended for the administrative, commercial, communication personnel, and system administrators of the Controller, designated and authorized by the Controller in the exercise of their functions. Data may also be communicated to third parties providing the Controller with external site management services, market research, technical services, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies, and profiling activities. Your data may also be transferred abroad, in accordance with current regulations, including to countries outside the European Union where the Community pursues its statutory purposes. The transfer to non-EU countries, besides cases where this is guaranteed by European Commission adequacy decisions, is carried out to provide appropriate and suitable guarantees under the GDPR. We finally inform you that the data collected will never be disseminated and will not be subject to communication without your explicit consent, except for necessary communications that may involve the transfer of data to public entities, consultants, or other subjects for the fulfillment of legal obligations.

PERIOD OF RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA: Personal data collected will be retained in a form that allows the identification of data subjects for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed. Contact data for newsletter subscription will be retained until your request for service cancellation. Donation-related data will be retained for ten years in compliance with the accounting records retention regulations. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS: We inform you that you have the following rights:

– The right to ask the Controller for access to your personal data and their rectification or erasure, or the restriction of processing, or to object to their processing;

You also have the right to obtain confirmation from the Controller as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed and to obtain the following information: the purposes, the categories of data processed, the recipients or categories of recipients, and all available information about their origin.
